The awarding of the Originator Certification is conducted via an open, transparent process.

That process is overseen by our Oversight Board, who scrutinise the process and handle all appeals, seperate from the Evaluation Team. To provide an extra layer of fairness & rigour.

In this regard we follow the same process as the large business software ratings agencies

The Oversight Board, is an independent group at arms length from the day to day running of Originator.

Appeals  can be made by a company to the Board whenever the award is declined.

The Board  comes from the world of innovation & academia. To maintain Originator as a trusted source of accurate information on original products.
