Patents are not designed to publicise original products. They are a civil legal mechanism that allows you to protect even small iterations & improvements on products from being copied. Using legal sanction.

There are over 16 million patents in use, so they cannot communicate which products are truly original.

So we surveyed consumers to see what they wanted to know. Then we created the the “Originator Mark” & Certification. It has a higher standard than a patent, as it is specifically to identify & publicise  all truly “First to Market” original products. Those that created a new product category. 

It’s also for those original products “to market” for the first time. Where consumers can actually purchase it.

Whereas patents, are for an invention. Even if the invention never gets made.

Originator is an easy to recognise, common logo, that allows consumers to identify for all truly “First to Market ” original products, that meet our standards. Those that created a new product category.

Patents: Allow you to stop people using inventions & processes you own,  or allow you to charge for the use of the patent.

Which is very different from…

Originator:  Is an easy to recognise logo, that tells people that the product is the original to market with this new product type !

There is a lot of criticism of patents, & there are pros and cons on both sides. Economist debate this constantly. We think in a small way, we can help here.

That might be going too far, but our mission is to reign greater recognition & publicly to the few genuinly original products. As patents cant do that.
